A poster exhibition has an obvious trap: if the identity is too rigid, every piece of communication looks identical and the event feels like a template stretched across different content.

If it's too loose, there's no sense that a single, confident hand shaped the whole thing. FRAME was built to walk that line deliberately — a shared typographic language and color system, applied with real compositional freedom across the main visual, talk posters, workshop announcements, and the open call for entries. The variation isn't an accident; it's proof the system can hold more than one idea at once.

The palette stays tightly controlled — two or three base colors with a shifting accent per edition — leaving typography to do most of the expressive work. Type is treated as the loudest, most flexible part of the system: bold, oversized, and genuinely experimental in a way the rest of the identity deliberately isn't.

Beyond the posters, the system extends into the physical exhibition — tickets, badges, a catalog, and wayfinding signage — carrying the same restrained palette so visitors experience one continuous identity from the street poster to the gallery wall.

FRAME was built with one belief: that a design exhibition's own identity should model the thing it's celebrating — confident choices, not safe defaults. By giving one system room to look different four times over, FRAME turns a shared visual language into proof that structure and freedom aren't actually opposites.
