Project description
Embera is a premium candle brand created to evoke emotion through scent and light. The brand aims to provide a unique sensory experience that brings warmth, calm, and sophistication to any space. This project focuses on the visual identity, packaging, and branding for Embera, designed to capture the essence of luxury and tranquillity. The elegant, minimalist design approach reflects the premium quality of the product, while each candle fragrance tells its own story of comfort and relaxation.
DESIGN CHALLENGE CLIENT: Embera
The challenge was to create a visual identity and packaging for a premium candle brand that captures both luxury and tranquility. The goal was to design a sophisticated and minimalistic aesthetic that reflects the calming effect of the candles while remaining modern and approachable. Balancing elegance with simplicity, the design needed to evoke a sense of warmth, comfort, and luxury, all while ensuring the packaging was functional and visually striking.
Process
In this design challenge, I set out to create a complete brand identity for Embera, a premium candle brand dedicated to bringing peace and tranquility into everyday life. The goal was to develop an elegant, nature-inspired design system that would resonate with wellness-focused consumers while maintaining a sense of warmth and sophistication.
INTERNAL MATERIAL – BRAND INTRODUCTION CLIENT: Embera
The brand identity needed to reflect Embera's core values of tranquility, mindfulness, and understated luxury. I carefully selected a warm, neutral color palette combining soft beige tones with deep black accents, and chose sophisticated typography to convey the brand's premium essence. The design includes natural textures—wood, marble, and amber glass—to emphasize the artisanal craftsmanship and the brand's commitment to creating peaceful, sensory experiences. The Embera collection invites its users to pause and reconnect with moments of calm, with the tagline "Peace in Every Candle" encapsulating the brand's philosophy.
Solution
For the Embera candle collection, the solution was focused on creating a visual identity that truly embodies the brand's core values of tranquility, mindfulness, and artisanal quality. The goal was to develop packaging and branding that not only stands out in the wellness market but also evokes an emotional connection with the consumer, emphasizing both sophistication and the natural, sensory essence of the products.
Visual Identity The design approach started with a deep understanding of the brand's philosophy—candles that create sanctuaries of peace and mindful moments. This was reflected in every element of the brand identity, from the choice of colors and typography to the materials used. Embera products are presented in elegant packaging, with warm neutral tones and natural textures that evoke luxury without excess.
Packaging Design Embera's packaging design is not only visually captivating, but also thoughtful and sustainable. The focus on eco-friendly materials—wood grain labels and recyclable glass—ensures that the brand remains aligned with modern values, appealing to environmentally conscious consumers who are looking for high-quality products that are kind to both their homes and the planet.
Brand Experience Ultimately, the solution created for Embera is a brand identity that exudes warmth and evokes a sense of tranquility while remaining true to the brand's core message: peace in every candle. Each product invites the user to pause and reconnect with moments of calm that feel intentional, effortless, and, above all, restorative.

The result of the Embera candle brand design is a refined and cohesive visual identity that aligns perfectly with the brand's ethos of tranquility, mindfulness, and artisanal quality. The branding successfully conveys a sense of understated elegance while remaining true to the peaceful, sensory experiences within. Through careful attention to detail, I have created a design that not only captures the attention of the consumer but also enhances their ritual from the moment they encounter the product.
The minimalist design approach, combined with a warm palette of neutral tones and natural textures, effectively communicates the premium nature of Embera. The products are not just candles, but expressions of a lifestyle—an invitation to pause, unwind, and create moments of peace. Each element, from the amber glass jars to the wood-grain labels and black marble accents, was chosen to evoke a sense of luxury without being overly elaborate, ensuring that the design feels both sophisticated and approachable.
